Late Breaking News: Global Force for Healing featured at this year's UN Commission on the Status of Women Conference in New York!
Our panel: "Global Maternal Wellbeing: Access, Affordability, Dignity and Respect" at our lively conversation across from the UN.
Board members Amanda Coslor and Numfor Alenwi joined me to represent Global Force for Healing. Tia Oros-Peters, ED/Co-Founder of Seventh Generation Fund for Indigenous Peoples and Ellen Lambert, Chief Humanitarian Officer of Mothers Legacy/Mothers Monument Project rounded out the panel. We spoke to a packed house of global healthcare professionals, human rights advocates, and concerned global citizens--many of them mothers, grandmothers and daughters--on challenges and opportunities for rural mothers We highlighted our Compassionate Birth Network Partners and the need to defend the safety and human rights of all mothers, especially North American indigenous women and girls.
